Dear East Parents,
Welcome back to the 2016-17 school year! We have many exciting things to share with you, including a new building.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to complete all the projects before our opening date, August 22, 2016. We ask for your patience as we complete major renovations of the classrooms and the office area on the Varnett East campus.
Your cooperation is also needed in following directions given by the campus director for the flow of traffic. Beginning Monday, August 22, 2016, please use the exit door for entry into the building. It is important to enter one at a time in an orderly manner. This will allow us to get students in and out of school as quickly as possible. Additionally, for a short period of time, students will be served lunch in the classrooms until construction is completed.
The projected completion date of all projects is September 30, 2016. I know you will be just as excited as we are when this massive project is completed. It will be a beautiful school!
