The Varnett East Campus participated in a "Character Come Alive Day" parade on Friday, Oct. 30.
Students were asked to bring one of their favorite books and come to school dressed as their favorite character. All grade levels participated and even some teachers brought in their favorite stories and dressed the part as well.
This is just one of the activities that the East Campus is doing to promote reading school-wide.
