Kindergarten and first-grade students brought their science displays to school this week in preparation for a Science Fair set for 2 p.m. Friday. First-, second-, and third-place winners for each grade group will be announced at the fair.
Science teaches children necessary skills they can use in other areas of their lives. KidSource reports, "Early experiences in science help children develop problem-solving skills and motivate them toward a lifelong interest in the natural world."
