Director’s Spotlight:
As I reflect back on our school year, we accomplished many great things. The PTO Club was formed and raised funds to help our educational program. The BOX TOP program was also successful in raising funds for our school. The Recycling Program is up and running and will also earn points for our P.E. program.
Our students are taking the new STAAR Test, TPRI and Stanford 10 Tests to show growth from the Fall to the Spring. The Pre-K students also are being tested for educational growth. We have the brightest students here at Varnett and I am sure our students were successful on these tests.
Thank you parents for support during the school year! Join us for Cinco de Mayo, May 4 and Field Day, May 25. We will all ride the school bus to Southwest campus for these two events. The last day of school, please come and celebrate our Annual Fiesta at Varnett.
During the summer break, go to the library every week to check out books to read. Have a
safe and fun summer!
