Saying no to drugs day by day

East campus showed different ways to promote drug prevention awareness during Red Ribbon Week.

On Monday, students and staff wore the color red to start off the week. They wore shades to shade out the usage of drugs on Tuesday, crazy-mismatched socks to sock it to drugs on Wednesday, and wore their clothes backward to turn their backs on drugs on Thursday.

Ms. Gayle Voltz, the campus director, and students Jairo and Malik took a picture showing them with their clothes on backward.

"It is important for students and staff to know and be able to share knowledge with family members about the dangers of using drugs," Ms. Voltz said.
