East campus fashions a Cinco de Mayo day

Students and staff recently commemorated Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.

It also is a day of fashion in which participants dress in casual and bright colors that mirror those of the Mexican flag – red, white and green.

Here's a look on how East campus celebrated the day.
