Dear Varnett Parents,
We are excited to return this semester to continue working with you to support your child(ren) in nurturing their academic development. In order to do so, we will be administering a District Based Assessment (DBA) the week of January 11 – 15, 2021. The DBA will help guide our campus leaders and teachers to make decisions about instructional delivery, planning, and practice to benefit your child(ren) in mastering academic grade-level expectations.
The DBA will be administered online to all 3rd -8th grade learners. The 3rd-8th grade students have had practice engaging in online testing during the first and second six weeks test administrations and are accustomed to the expectations of testing.
