A show of pink on Breast Cancer Awareness Day

East campus celebrated another Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Wednesday, October 16.

Students and staff wore pink shirts and buttons that said “Boot Out Cancer" to remember the family members who succumbed to breast cancer and also for breast cancer survivors.

We will never stop sharing our stories and asking our loved ones to “Go Get Tested” because early prevention saves lives. Our science program at The Varnett Public School is so important because one of our scholars may one day be the one who finds a cure for cancer.

The fight is ongoing and will never end until,  we no longer will suffer from the disease.
