Meet the Driver is scheduled for August 5th & 6th from 8am to Noon, and 1:15pm to 4pm!
The Varnett Public School proudly provides FREE daily transportation for all eligible students. To ensure your child is assigned to a morning and afternoon route, families must complete the transportation registration process before the start of school.
Visit the VPS Transportation page on our website to register your child for daily morning and after-school bus service. Early registration helps us plan efficient routes and ensures your student is ready for the first day of school.

Semiquincentennial Celebration of Freedom, Opportunity, and Community!
On July 4, 2026, the United States of America celebrates an incredible milestone of 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. From the first thirteen colonies to a nation of more than 340 million people, America’s story has been one of perseverance, innovation, courage, and hope.
This historic anniversary, known as the Semiquincentennial, invites us to reflect on our shared history while looking forward to the future. Across the nation, communities are gathering to honor the ideals of liberty, democracy, and opportunity that continue to unite Americans from all walks of life. (Reddit)
As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, let's remember that the strength of our nation has always come from its people: teachers, students, families, military service members, first responders, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who work every day to make our country stronger. District campuses and offices will be closed on July 2nd, 3rd and 6th.
