East Campus Pre-K through third grades recently made pep rally signs to boost fourth- and fifth-graders' inner “STAARVIVOR” power to excel on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) writing, math and reading tests.
The school rocked to the beat of songs empowering self-confidence and wisdom to pass the STAAR. The fourth- and fifth-graders were pumped up as Coach Jean Carlo DeLeon played the STAAR tunes. Coach Dana Payne found some songs to go along with this year’s theme “I’m a STAARVIVOR."
