Meet Ms. Amanda Garcia, the sixth-grade art teacher at the East Campus. Her students recently worked on three projects: drawing sketches from their images of choice, a hand-made new-year planner and interpretations of Black History Month, which starts February 1, 2022.
Ms. Garcia says her students were asked to incorporate the seven elements of art: line, shape, texture, color, space, form and value.
